Men Give Back in an Unprecedented Way

(Prince George’s County, MD — August 28, 2015) The regions first-ever all-male competition will be held Saturday, October 3rd. The “Mr. Metropolitan” competition is designed to highlight one way the men in our community can work to positively impact and change the lives of young girls in DC, Maryland and Virginia.
This unprecedented event will feature the region’s best men competing in a variety of categories including,
interview skills, GQ wear, lip-sync talent, debating skills and much more. Attendees can enjoy voting power, raffles and dancing to DJ Casper.

All proceeds of the evening’s event will benefit My Girlfriend’s House, Inc., a non-profit organization that
provides academic enrichment programs to at-risk teenage girls in the DC Metropolitan area.

Anticipated to be one of the finest (and most fun) charity events in 2015, 200 of DMV’s most prominent,
affluent and philanthropic contributors are expected to participate in this memorable evening, including host,
Walter Maxfield Thomas and special guest judges Kristi King and Stephanie Gaines-Bryant of DC’s WTOP.
