Please join us in congratulating our mentee, Angel Daniels, for being named My Girlfriend’s House Student Ambassador for the spring 2018 session!

Angel is a 7th grader at Roberto Clemente Middle School where she has maintained a grade point average of 3.8 and higher.

As a rising scholar, Angel’s favorite subject in school is English. With dreams of becoming a writer, Angel spends her spare time writing poetry and fictional stories. As a participant of our Summer Enrichment Camps and Girl Talk Mentoring Program, Angel has consistently showed strong leadership skills, both in and outside of the classroom. Although she has been pushed out of her comfort zone many times, she’s never given up. In fact, she was often the lone voice in the room, pushing the other girls to work hard to finish the task at hand. She has taken every task given to her and worked her hardest to master it. Not to mention she lives over an hour away and has only missed one workshop since joining us during our 2017 summer session.

In the true spirit of competition, Angel will serve as our official Student Ambassador in 2018 until she is surpassed by another mentee.

When asked how she is able to keep herself motivated, Angel said that eating and sleeping are her top priorities.
